The one-bedroom duplex homes are outfitted with an expansive recreation room as well as a spacious terrace. The two-bedrooms offer a flexible variety of floor plans, and some also have terraces. The homes all contain oversized, double-picture windows, an accent that provides the space with plenty of natural light and views. The homes also offer a variety of finishes, including hardwood flooring, stainless steel, granite and ceramic. The kitchens feature Energy Star–rated, stainless-steel appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, and sleek custom Italian granite countertops. The baths are equally well appointed with ceramic tiles and Kohler fixtures.
The building has a few amenities with which to tempt the prospective resident; however, this building probably would not be a perfect fit for someone seeking full-service living. The building offers the services of a doorman to announce guests, admit residents and accept packages and deliveries. There is also a fitness center, bike storage room, furnished courtyard and on-site parking, a rare luxury not offered by many New York buildings. The building is also pet friendly.
Beacon Towers is located in Harlem, one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, and with good reason. Harlem is well known for its rich history, its many landmarked buildings, green parks and vibrant culture. There are also many spots for nightlife, and the area has plenty of transportation.
