The Brompton is a new construction building located in Manhattan’s prestigious Upper East Side. Each luxury condo features a massive arched gateway to cherry wood paneling, marble flooring and a thoroughly modern kitchen.
The kitchen features an abundance of maple cabinetry, and the Sub-Zero refrigerator even hides behind the wood. With a wine cooler, Miele dishwasher and a Viking stainless-steel wall oven the kitchen has everything needed to host a dinner party accompanied by a chilled wine.
The building was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, LLP. Stern was looking to blend many of the styles that make the Upper East Side the most sought-after neighborhood in New York City. This old-era feel likely comes from The Brompton’s red brick and limestone façade, which Stern says is gothic inspired.

The building has been registered with the United States Building Council and anticipates receiving LEED Silver Certification, as The Brompton is at the height of energy efficiency, as Stern used sustainable materials to build it.
The Brompton offers 24-hour concierge and doorman service. The 20-story condominium is located between Central Park and Carl Schurz Park, and the location certainly makes up for what the building lacks in amenities.
