From a 1926 office building, Le Rivage an enormous structure that faces the entrance to the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel, and has now become known as an Art Deco-inspired rental property at 21 West Street in the financial district of Manhattan. Converted by Rose Associates in 1998, this 31-story building was designed by Schuman Lichtenstein Claman & Efron, and displays a dramatic architecture with its many corner windows and strong vertical facade accents.
Le Rivage is home to 324 apartments that boast prewar details such as the high ceilings that range from 10 to 13 feet high.
