The Stamford in Harlem is a six-story boutique-style building that features twelve unique apartments. This Manhattan structure, created by architect Karl Fischer, follows the chic city style of his sought-after Senneca Terrace, and artfully combines these residences with appeal and functionality.
The apartments range from a spacious studio to a flexible one-bedroom with a home office, to a duplex garden home. For greater privacy there are only two units per floor.
Ten of these twelve units have delightful private outdoor spaces, and the first-floor duplexes have extended landscaped gardens. The 1-bedroom penthouse has a 300-square foot terrace, and all the residents also have access to a common roof deck.
Built in harmony within its history-rich neighborhood, the building boasts pre-war inspired interiors such as tall ceilings and oversized double-glazed windows. All the floors are constructed of wood, and the apartment design includes open-plan living areas which are perfect for gatherings for any number of guests. The baths are outfitted with designer fixtures, and the open kitchens with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances. A Bosch washer and dryer is also included in each unit for residents’ convenience.
