Located on one of SoHo’s charming cobble stone streets, the architects at Selldorf designed this this cast-iron loft so it has one foot in present day Soho while having the other foot planted in the Soho of yester-year. This is extremely evident with one look at the stainless steel and glass façade.
The Architects designed played off the exterior façade, by using stainless steel Boffi Kitchens, Bardiglio and Thassos marble and Terrazzo flooring that leads marries seamlessly with a ash planked wood floor.
42 Crosby is a culmination of 9 sleek three-bedroom (and one five-bedroom) dwellings. Light from the south and east fill this space with gorgeous natural light that pours in through floor to ceiling glass sliding doors.
It’s the perfect union of form and function. The building features a high-tech, on-site parking garage with car elevator; a lobby that is attended 24-hours a day (a terrarium art installation by Paula Hayes is featured here), residential storage units; and cold storage.
