After years of discussion and planning, New York City’s first bike sharing program is almost here. Monday, May 27th, Memorial Day, is the target launch date for the program and, even though the program is yet to begin, the criticism is getting louder.

Guns N’ Roses frontman, Axl Rose, is out and about hunting for an apartment in downtown New York. The “Knockin’ on Heaven’s” door singer had previously rented a place in Tribeca and, according to the New York Post, said that he “likes the people” in New York. So the logical consequence would be a permanent place, and a rep for Axl has confirmed that he is in fact looking for something more permanent.

The American actress Claire Danes and British actor Hugh Dancy have just picked up a townhouse in the Greek-revival style at 19 Downing Street for $6.9 million. The couple sold their 3,861 square-foot loft in Soho for $5.85 million last November while Claire was pregnant. The reason for selling was that Claire wanted to move to a “larger and more family-friendly” home—and now we see what the “Homeland” star was looking for.
