The Gansevoort Condominiums offers two-story penthouse apartments, full-floor condos, and duplexes. Each unit features hardwood mahogany flooring and large windows. The added fireplace is a nice touch in each unit’s living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and cabinetry. The included built-in microwave is an added bonus.
The bathrooms are a rich mix of muted colors, as they combine stone, marble and wood to create a relaxing room. The backsplashes are stainless steel over wood cabinetry. Each bathroom features a soaking tub and heated floors. The body-spray showers round out the bathrooms.
The Gansevoort features some nice amenities, including a terrace on every floor. Also located on every floor are laundry facilities. Unfortunately, the units do not come equipped with washers and dryers. With large closets, key-access elevators and private storage facilities, the Gansevoort has all the amenities area condos should, but none of the extras.
The location is as an amenity, however, as long as residents appreciate areas rich in nightlife. The location of this New York real estate is considered prime, in the trendsetting Meatpacking District of West Village. Residents of the Gansevoort find themselves in very close proximity to the subway, busses and a plethora of nearby restaurants and nightspots.
